European training course Creativity and Learning

For the third consecutive year the popular and appreciated European training course 'Creativity and Learning' will be given by the network in 2012.

The five day (40 hours) training course will be held at the charming, four star Victoria Hotel in Sliema, Malta, on 2-6 October 2012. The course programme includes modules such as Personal Creativity Point of Departure; Mental Models; Concepts of Creativity; Thinking Outside the Box (techniques for creativity); Creative Classroom (tools for pupils); Idea Generation; Creativity and Learning; Multiple Intelligences; How to Discover Own Talents; Creative Learning Environments; Experimental Science; Measuring Creativity; Opportunities for European Collaboration; and How to develop creativity back home.

The course also includes a lecture at the de Bono Institute/University of Malta, an excursion to the medieval city of Mdina and a study visit to the Creativity Centre in Valletta.

All professionals in eligble countries (the Lifelong Learning Programme) can apply to their National EU Agency for an EU grant to attend, which - if approved - covers the costs of the course fee (tuition, materials, meals and accommodation) and the travel expenses. The dealine for such an application is 30 April 2012, but can and should of course be made much earlier than so.
