On November 7th a cluster of teachers across Nepal was formed for connection to and collaboration with the Learning Teacher Network. The Nepalese network, preliminarily titled ‘the Learning Teachers' Network – Nepal’ is a non-political and informal network, for development of education in Nepal.

At the Conference on Gender Differences in Educational Achievement, to be held in Uppsala, Sweden on 17–18 November 2009, differences between the academic results of girls and boys will be discussed. Studies reveal similar patterns of gender difference in most European countries. The conference is part of the Swedish Presidency of the European Union.

The general call for proposals for 2010 (EAC/41/09) has just been launched. Both citizens and organisations in the field of school and higher education, vocational training and adult learning can now apply again for the numerous activities supported by the programme, which includes the Comenius, Erasmus, Leonardo da Vinci and Grundtvig sub-programmes.

Mother International Academy is a Kathmandu based organisation to develop education, student exchange and global partnerships. The organisation is part of global community who care and love the education and academia. They believe in developing strong partnerships with parents and members of the global community.
