The World Sustainable Development Teach-In Day
The World Sustainable Development Teach-In Day will be held on-line on December 3rd 2010. This will be the largest initiative on sustainability education ever organised and participants from over 50 countries will take advantage of this unique event. Already 2,000 participants have registered.
The organisers invite colleagues to contribute by submitting a Power Point presentation on one of the topics of the on-line conference before September 30th. The topics can be found on http://world-sustainability-day.net/en.html . Accepted presentations will, subject to a preview, be put on-line during the event and will showcase your work to a world audience. Expressions of interest to contribute to the event should be sent to beids@beids.de
Furthermore, the authors who want to, may submit a paper about the topic, which may be published in the book "World Trends on Education for Sustainable Development" which will be published in 2011.
The "World Sustainable Development Teach-in Day" is recognised by the UNESCO as a project that falls within the framework of the United Nations Decade of Education for Sustainable Development (2005-2014). It is being organised in partnership with a large number of organisatons in different countries.
