Towards a new global vision for children and media

In search of smarter grownups bringing insight, knowledge and skills on media to children and youth, the World Summit on Media for Children and Youth will be the number one meeting place 2010.

On June 14-18, 2010, the City of Karlstad in Sweden will host the World Summit on Media for Children and Youth.

The programme introduces more than 140 sessions targeting teachers, head teachers, trainers, researchers, media specialists, and everyone in education with an interest in how to understand and develop media in education and training, and in society in general. International top quality experts will contribute with keynote speeches, panels, round table discussions, lectures, seminars, and workshops.

The summit expects to welcome more than 2,000 guests from all over the world. Thereby the summit will be a splendid meeting point, not only for listening to the world leading experts in the field but also for colleagues in education and training to meet and link.

Now the registration period has begun.
