In search of smarter grownups bringing insight, knowledge and skills on media to children and youth, the World Summit on Media for Children and Youth will be the number one meeting place 2010.

20 Years Anniversary: The Convention on the Rights of the Child (CRC)

In 1989, world leaders decided that children needed a special convention just for them because people under 18 years old often need special care and protection that adults do not. The leaders also wanted to make sure that the world recognized that children have human rights too. The Convention on the Rights of the Child (CRC) is the first legally binding international instrument to incorporate the full range of human rights—including civil, cultural, economic, political and social rights.

European Project Planning In Service Training Course in Florence

It is now possible to enrol in the 2010 editions of the European Project Planning in-service training course. 21 editions of the course were already successfully carried out between 2005 and 2009. The course will be held at Pixel, in Florence (Italy) and the course language is English.

Lifelong Learning Infodays 2010 – Coming soon

The Executive Agency (EACEA) – the operative agency under the EU Directorate-General for Education and Culture - will organise two Infodays on the centralised actions of the Lifelong Learning Programme, for which it is responsible under the 2010 General Call for Proposals.
